How I read this case
In banking no model reaches production unless it can explain itself. The question is not whether it is accurate but whether risk can reconstruct why it decided what it decided, and whether the regulator would accept that reconstruction. The cases that survive invested in traceability before the model.
The three questions
- Whether the case shows how each decision is audited, or only the accuracy figure.
- What happens to the customer when the model is wrong, and who fixes it.
- How long it took to move from pilot to operation at real volume.
